A Week in the Life - Day 2
Day 2: Monday
I could have happily stayed in bed for the whole of Monday and rested, but we were due to travel home from my parents and so I got ready and packed.
Having M.E. means that my immune system is compromised, I catch everything that is going around - or at least that is how it feels. In the last couple of days I have developed a reaction to something on my arms, and so Piriton has become part of my routine.
At some point in the morning my brother popped up with my nephew. My nephew was asleep when they arrived, so we transferred him to his cot. Unfortunately he didn't stay asleep. In the room next door I could hear him talking to himself non-stop and bouncing around in his cot. I entered his room and was met with this face. He is such a little character.
He loved being outside; I settled myself on the grass and watched as My Handsome Man, my nephew and Poppy ran around the garden kicking footballs and enjoying the sunshine.
It was soon time for us to leave and start our journey home.
When My Handsome Man got back, he woke me and I wrote a blog post, I then showered and washed my hair so I didn't have to spend the morning recovering from doing so tomorrow.
