A rainy day with the Harveys

I have known both Nick and Filipa for years. Filipa and I share similar tastes when it comes to style and interiors so I was over the moon to be able to capture them and their daughter.

The day arrived and it was pouring with rain - perfect weather to capture their daughter’s favourite activity! We spent some time splashing in puddles before returning home to warm up. The session went so well and I knew there were several beautiful photographs waiting in my camera roll.

Regardless of how perfect the client is, sending out the final gallery to a family is always incredibly nerve-racking. They have invested in you and you do your best to capture their family as they are now. You press send and have butterflies - you’ve spent hours working on their gallery and hope and pray they like the photos.

Receiving the following causes all the happy tears.
